HOT ! Vintage 1950s Cocktail Dress w Jacket Rust Orange Taffeta Size S

This is a wonderful vintage 1950s cocktail dress that comes with a matching jacket.  This 1950s cocktail dress has a sweetheart neckline, thin black velvet shoulder straps, a squared open upper back and a defined waistline with loops for a belt, but no belt is included.  The jacket has a narrow collar, full length sleeves with notched turned cuffs, an accented waist and does up with three covered buttons.  Both pieces are unlined and the dress is made in a below the knee length with an overlapped skirt that is gathered at the left waist.  The bodice of the dress is supported by stays.   This 1950s cocktail dress does up with a fine tooth metal Lightning brand zipper at the left side.

Sizing: No size is indicated on this 1950s cocktail dress, but this should fit a small size with a 24” waist - please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior:

Bust: 34” around, taken under the arm openings

Waist: 24” around

Hips:  36”, but meant to fall loosely

Overall length: 48“, measured flat at the back from the top of the straps

Jacket:

Shoulders: 15” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves:  23” from the shoulder seam

Sleeve inseam:  17”

Bust:  34”

Waist:  26”

Length:  23”

Condition: This 1950s cocktail dress is in very clean condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour. It looks like this it saw little use and was very well kept over the years.
